Online Access to Court Records
Lubbock County has provided a website where attorneys, outside agencies, justice partners, and citizens may access certain court information online. Currently, only County Clerk and District Clerk records are available online. Justice of the Peace records will be made available in the future as implementation progresses. Additional record types may become available as the system continues to expand. To register for Lubbock County Public Access, please create an account at the link below.

REGISTERED USER ACCESS
Individuals may create a free registered user account for access to certain public court case information. A registered account provides access to the case index, including general case details, parties, attorneys, and scheduling information (no document images). Once your registration request has been submitted, you will receive a link to validate your email address. You must validate your email address within 3 days.
If prompted to request elevated access, please bypass this request by clicking the home button located below the request.
ATTORNEYS, OUTSIDE AGENCIES AND JUSTICE PARTNERS
If you are an outside agency or justice partner, after registering, you will be given an opportunity the first time you login to request elevated access based on your role.
ATTORNEYS
This site allows viewing of unrestricted civil, family and criminal court records on file with the District Clerk and County Clerk. This site does not contain eDiscovery maintained by the District Attorney’s Office. If you need to inquire about access to eDiscovery, please contact the District Attorney’s Office at (806) 775-1100 or dadiscovery@lubbockcounty.gov.
On-Site Access to Court Records
If you have additional questions or need copies of documents not viewable through the online portal, you may contact the appropriate custodian of record (see below).
Additionally, public access computers are available at the Lubbock County Courthouse – 904 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401. These terminals allow users to:
- Search for court records
- View documents (including documents that may be restricted from online viewing)
- Request copies from the custodian of record
